The easiest alternative would be to have a local reprepro on your
machine and rsync the repository to alioth. In that case you wouldn't
need to put the repository signing key on alioth if you plan to sign
your repository.
Sure, that is an option, but it would be easiest to work on alioth
directly.
So no opinions/preferences wrt the repos location then?
