I just tried, and it looks like Dima created a patch in the packaging that adds a file waffles/nothreads.py among other things, realting to building on hppa... and that file already exists in xiphos 3.1.4, so the 3.1.3.3 packaging does not apply to the 3.1.4 source tree as is. Did Xiphos accept Dima's change into the "upstream" source tree, somewhere between 3.1.3 and 3.1.4? I'll try simply removing that patch from the packaging, and seeing what happens, but I'd be more confident if we understood this slightly better before uploading to Debian :) So far, to get a Xiphos 3.1.4 package that builds lintian-clean, my debian/changelog says: xiphos (3.1.4-1) experimental; urgency=low * New upstream release 3.1.4 * Removed debian/patch/* since the one patch was included upstream. * Bumped Standards-Version to 3.9.1 (no changes required). * debian/README.Debian: Corrected spelling and reworded for clarity. * debian/control: Add Jonathan Marsden back into Uploaders. I'll test this a little here, before making it public :) Jonathan -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.10 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iEYEARECAAYFAkzd+hUACgkQUGfT4+mKBLJ7YACbBeV116JglRpRdehmaEpfA1Yj lkUAnRL+DTP8BLFvP0hgeEFGSBbILsG1 =E06A -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Pkg-crosswire-devel mailing list [email protected] http://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/pkg-crosswire-devel
