Your support, encouragement and advice have been extremely helpful and led me to eventually work on things I had not previously considered. I think I'm done with the lintian cleanup. Ideally, Sword would be completely lintian clean, but actually I let lintian still reporting a tag about the missing control file (I: no-symbols-control-file). I created such a symbols file, libsword builds on my system (amd64) without errors, lintian is clean, but I'm worried about FTBFS on other architectures. So yes, I would appreciate any feedback on my work, and if the packaging is correct, sponsorship and upload of the package.
