Hello there, On the pkg-kolab-devel mailing list, it was pointed out to me cyrus-imapd could use some help.
Kolab Systems -whom I work for-, has a keen interest in cyrus-imapd, and is planning on basing the native packages for Debian/Ubuntu on 2.3.16, as we use this version on Fedora + derivatives as well. A certain set of patches that we ship for Cyrus to be a part of Kolab, I'm working on getting sanitized and/or included upstream. Another set of patches is either Debian or Fedora specific, but there are lot of similarities between the two (such as one for the missing user_deny.db handling). I'm hoping to find an audience here to effectively exchange these patches and collaborate. If there is anything specific I can help with, please don't hesitate to ask. For now, please allow me to share my (ongoing) work on kolab-cyrus-imapd with you, while I have not yet taken a peak at the cyrus23 branches on mail.incase.de; http://git.kolabsys.com/apt/kolab-cyrus-imapd/ Note that the above work may include some Kolab specific work.
