This makes me wonder two things :
(1) is there some sort of race condition that happens at high speed?
(2) is there a way to control the speed at which things happen via
the use of a zone with limited cpu resources allocated to it?
I don't know if (2) would work because the amount of cpu resources allocated
does not really slow down the execution speed of code within a given
timeslice. I would hope that I do not need to go to a Pentium III to get the
job done.
