Sure however I didn't think that was doable in the amount of time I had. I 
think that your suggestion would fit well with the work Bart is doing in order 
to determine what packages/files constitute a reboot. Doing snapshots and 
clones as a whole will not hinder a more permanent solution.

I agree. I'll scan the current RFE's and create one if something similar 
doesn't exist.
