I had perhaps incorrectly assumed that most people with a shared in interest in these RFEs would provide comments on the RFEs via this alias. People like myself or Tom who have a keen interest in these RFEs will certainly integrate those comments into the RFEs. Of course, I am not discounting that some folks will also modify the RFEs directly. It also seemed a bit clunky to me to cc select individuals such as the folks on the Package Manager GUI team when it's clear to me that they're already on this alias. If the pkg-discuss community at large would rather not be informed of these types of RFEs, then I'll defer to the presumably much smaller set of folks on the RFE notification aliases and to selected individuals to mull them over.
