Hi,

today I've first went through man pages of pkg(1) and stuff
arounf pkg(1), went through PSARC cases as well as searched the
list to find the reason why we are binding FMRI - Fault
management resource identifier - with package identifier. It was
not confusing for me to see the similarity between the
identifiers, but I didn't get the usage of "F" in FMRI vs. pkg.

Shouldn't we be more general and simply define (proposal, I
know, there is no PSARC case for it)

MRI (Managed Resource Identifier - general term)
         |
+-> FMRI (Fault Management Resource Identifier - svc:, lrc:)
         |
+-> PMRI (Package Management Resource Identifier - pkg:)
         |
         .
         .

        Thanks for comments,

        /j.
