Notes:
Before this change a "pkg install SUNWvim" into an empty user image
would cause about 8500 doorfs and 8500 getuid calls. After this
change, no doorfs or getuid calls are seen via:
dtrace -n 'syscall:::entry /execname == "depot.py"/{ @num[probefunc] =
count(); }'
