Yes, I did look at that (and was amused that it was #1). No, bug #1 is "there should be a BASEDIR-like mechanism". I'm saying "/var/sadm/pkg/*/pkginfo (and therefore pkgparam et al) do not include BASEDIR for converted packages". That's not quite the same thing. It may well be that fixing bug #1 is a prerequisite to including BASEDIR in the compatibility interfaces.
