if I could actually buy (reliable, not bargain basement) disk space in the 
sizes I wanted, for a couple of dollars, rather than having to buy "in 
bulk", so to speak, I might be in the same boat as you.

But, to me at least, there is still a finite amount of disk space available 
on any personal system I own.
For BUSINESS systems, it is even worse.
Cost aside, getting approval to buy something, and then approval for 
downtime to install it, is non-trivial.

and, I should mention that given the current financial client, just about 
ANY purchase, has been frozen at the moment.
