There doesn't seem to be an open bug on this problem (at least I couldn't find one), though I've certainly heard of other people experiencing similar issues. It would be great if you could file one at http://defect.opensolaris.org/bz/enter_bug.cgi?product=pkg . Please include the information you have here. It would also be great if you could boot back into b101 and try different settings for your preferred authority to see if we can narrow down the behavior.
