Hi,
Our group used to depend on finish script of Jumpstart to setup our
configuration and kicked off the testing. After knowing the finish
script won't be supported on AI framework, I created a dummy SVR4
package and embedded our finishscript as 'postinstall' of the package
SUNWfinish ....which will be executed before the first boot of
installation. It works fine under Jumpstart framework and we are using
it without problem.
My questions:
Would it be ok to import my existing SUNWfinish without modification
into my local IPS repo so that it behaves like before, such that pkg
will kick off the 'postinstall' part .... Somehow, I understood my SVR4
package will be 'transformed' to IPS format in my local repo .... just
wonder how it will affect 'postinstall' behavior.
