The diffs are for build 111, but since that's been sent off I'll wait to
integrate until 111a. I expect the diffs to be identical, so am
requesting review now.

It builds, imports, and installs successfully, even with the dependencies
against extras-delivered packages. The package will evolve over time as
we determine either a more minimal subset of packages required, or as new
packages are required, but this is a working start. Comments are appreciated.
