Hi All,
   I'm taking a look at the latest package manager categories in build
   111a and sigh they are still not as I expected. I've pulled together
   the list of changes needed in this email to send to pkg-discuss (and
   Rich and David) to get this fixed. I really need some help from the
   compiler team and the folks I indicated below to look at these as well
   and 1) let me know if the items listed make sense and what if any other
   components/libraries need to be listed as well.
     * All Development includes sunstudioexpress. This needs to be
       changed to sunstudio since sunstudio will point to the latest
       version of Sun Studio in OpenSolaris.
     * The C category includse SUNWcpp but not Sun Studio. This needs to
       be changed to include sunstudio and ss-dev .
     * The C++ category includes SUNWlibC but not Sun Studio. This needs
       to be changed to include sunstudio and ss-dev .
     * GNU category - George - look at the list - is it complete?
     * High Performance Computing includes hpc-dev but should also include
       sunstudio .

     * George - will you verify the list the GNU comps in this list - is
       this right?
     * Gregory - will you take a look at this also - the list has fftw2,3
       don't know where these come from. I'm thinking we should request
       to get the description of Sun Studio to include something about
       fortran and performance libs.
     * Len - do you think that ct 7.1 and 8.1 should be listed and/or
       should we just include or also include clustertools which points to
       the latest version?

     Integrated Development Environment - change sunstudioexpress to
   sunstudio .

     System  add :
     * NB DTrace GUI Plugin
     * SunStudio - Dlight

   Are there other libraries that we should be including in these
   developer categories to help insure that users can build apps
   successfully - particularly gui apps?
   Let me know by tomorrow 1:00pm since I need to send out the email
   really soon to hopefully push these changes.
   Thanks a bunch.
   Jas
