After building and installing the latest pkg.depotd on our repository
server, we are getting timeout issues. When trying to install a
single package, I get the following:
pkg.depotd itself hasn't changed, but there is a patched version of
SUNWpython-cherrypy in the gate now.
Is the machine that is running the depot server using the version of
SUNWpython-cherrypy in the gate?
Are you using at least revision 1194 or newer of the gate?
We are rev 1207, and built the packages from the src tree and installed
them on our system. Note that we are running on a Nevada nv108 system.
Our pkg.depotd is running with 50 threads and a 60-second timeout.
Our apache2 httpd.conf file contains:
ProxyTimeout 30
ProxyRequests Off
AllowEncodedSlashes On
ProxyPass /dev-private http://oursystem.domain:10800 nocanon
disablereuse=On
Do we have a bad setup somewhere, or is there a bug in the new
transport code?
Are you connecting through Apache via port 10800 for the client, or
are you connecting directly to the depot server?
Have you tried the latter just to see where the problem might be?
I tried both with the same result.
