I am modifying an existing package and need to update a configuration file (/etc/crypto/pkcs11.conf) when the package is being applied as an upgrade.
With SVR4 it is done in the postinstall script, how can I deliver my package so that the same thing will happen when it is converted to IPS? The package does deliver a new version of the file when installed as new (as opposed to an upgrade), so the only question is what will IPS do when the package is upgraded?
