Now that , (because of removing the SUNWfixes package), we can't really
easily "go back" to building an earlier build, without checking out an
earlier version of the pkg source code via one of the build tags that Danek
adds in, it would be nice to clean up (i.e. remove/simplify) most of the
things
like the multiple CACHED_FILES_NNN and FIX_FILES_NNN lines in
.../gate/src/util/distro-import. At the moment, if you don't know all the
history,
it isn't obvious what's going on.
Agreed. Please feel free to file a cleanup bug for this. Another
thing I noticed is we still create the now-unused "proto" directory
under distro-import.
