[removing cc of internal Sun lists]

Hi Folks,

Do you have any recommendation on how to go about diagnosing this problem?

Are they using a proxy, or do they have proxy settings setup inside of GNOME?

If so, the pkg cli doesn't use those.

They'll have to set their proxy environment variable with something like:

export http_proxy=....

or

export https_proxy=...

Hello Bob/Sandya

With browser ,we are actually able to traverse through support repository ,But still set-authority command fails as mentioned in previous mails with below error:

Hi,

After performing set-publisher, the next step is image-update. At least that's how I did it. I realize that's different from the recommended procedure for going from /release to /dev, I'm not sure why that is however...

Hello Bob/Sandya

On restarting the browser and Actually selecting the support certificates,we are able to access URL "https://pkg.sun.com/opensolaris/support " too. We feel we were selecting extra's certificate itself for support repository too, initially. :-(

But on trying to download and install a package (SUNWipkg) from URL "https://pkg.sun.com/opensolaris/support ",it failed with below error.
