I ran truss and it seems to be operating in the live BE?
ie
8304: mkdir("/var/pkg/publisher/internaldev/catalog", 0777) Err#17
EEXIST
8304: stat64("/var/pkg/state/installed/catalog.attrs", 0x080463E0) = 0
not clear from truss why it's doing this, any idea as to what I'm
doing wrong here?
Also should it be doing a mkdir like above, ie dir already exists?
Not sure that this is it, but I think the "-R /a" has to come after
"pkg" but before the "fix".
The fact that pkg fix ignores the error trying to fix packages -R and
/a is something I'm taking care of as part of my sat solver wad.
