To address
16081 begin a developer guide for pkg(5)
I've written an outline with some draft content, and uploaded a webrev
to
http://cr.opensolaris.org/~sch/pkg-guide

The PDF/HTML builds are driven using docutils; the input format is
restructured text. (You'll need a local TeX installation to build the
PDF. TeX-Live works fine for me.)
The notion is that each of us will start to expand the sections
connected with our areas of technical or operational expertise, but
that this outline should catch many of the topics of interest. Most
review comments will be turned into a request for a follow-up putback,
but feel free to send them along in any case.
