I will make all the changes you suggested, and the changes suggested
by Shawn on June 10th, and I'll post another webrev.  Answers to your
questions are below.

Our management decided that supporting 2009.06 was not a requirement.

These libraries (eg libCstd.so.1) are delivered bundled with every
express release
of Solaris Studio because we don't release a complete set of fresh
patches for
express releases.  For FCS releases, we tell users they need to get all
the latest
patches when they get new compilers.  The internal copies of the
libraries are used
by the express compilers (via RPATH) to override their /usr/lib
counterparts.
Note: It's important for our QA and sustaining functions that the
OpenSolaris configuration
exactly match the files we deliver on Solaris 10, so we can't really
tweak them
to be different for OpenSolaris.
