Hi,
I work in compiler team, and my job is to test new Solaris kernel sources
with newly developed compilers on biweekly basis.
Earlier I was told that http://ipkg.sfbay/dev/en/index.shtml
shows the latest official Solaris version which I usually
used to upgrade my machines by using 'pkg image-update'
But it looks like for more than one month this website
has snv_150 version. So could anyone tell me whether
snv_150 is still an official version, or there is another website
somewhere now?
My 2-nd question related to upgrading machines starting from snv_150a.
I learned that starting from snv_150a version I should change publisher
by typing the following:
pkg set-publisher -O http://ipkg.sfbay.sun.com/dev/solaris/ -P solaris
pkg set-publisher --non-sticky opensolaris.org
and then to use
pkg image-update --accept
Fine, but what about 'extra' and 'on-extra' packages necessary for
building kernel.
Earlier I used:
pkg set-publisher -O http://ipkg.sfbay/extra/ extra
pkg set-publisher -O http://ipkg.sfbay/on-extra/ on-extra
Was those two commands above have been also changed in snv_150a?
Thanks,
Sergey
