Thanks Shawn. I'm not sure I understand why the upstream service needs
to be aware of the original URL with pkg/proxy_base. If it needs to be
preserved, would enabling ProxyPreserveHost on Apache work instead or is
there some other requirement here?
It's a requirement of the underlying web framework used by pkg.depotd(1M).
I don't recall the details or the reasons why.
