fyi, this script got moved to the onnv gate with the s/ipkg/solaris/
brand rename, so we shouldn't be updating this script in the ips gate
any more. (steve has a pending putback which will remove all these
files from the ips gate.)

I saw Steve's changes in onnv since I made this review request
and have already made the corresponding change to the solaris
brand in onnv.
