If you have to use the SX packaging bits, then the latest merge.py won't
work. You'll need to get the one appropriate for that version of IPS:
http://src.opensolaris.org/source/raw/pkg/gate/src/util/publish/merge.py?r=2073:9fcacc9e5eaa
But if you have any way to use more modern packaging bits, that'd be even
better. :)
