I think this should use stdin, not stdout. Sorry if I got that wrong the other day. You don't want it to daemonize if you redirect stdout to a file, but redirecting stdin from /dev/null is a common way of telling a program to detach if it has smarts like this. Is there any way to query the subscribed plugins for their priorities so that we don't have to know the magic number 66? Should the mdns service also get its duration=child clause removed?
