The problem is that pkgrecv doesn't currently have access to the
information necessary to do that. Keep in mind that build number
alone won't get you all of the packages for a single build. Some
packages are only published when they change, such as those from
userland. So you will have a mix of packages from build 169, 172,
etc. in some cases.
That's why the earlier approach you tried doesn't work as expected,
and why this really isn't a failing (directly) of pkgrecv.
With that said, there are already RFEs open for pkgrecv to make it
easier to selectively retrieve packages.
Thanks Shawn. It is possible to configure a mirror to automatically pull
down any content that it doesnt have from its origin when a request is
made? I suspect not, but I thought I'd ask.
