Ah, I see. My 'all software' holy grail is running away again :) I was
thinking of 'all packages | grep -v ^system/install'. Anyway, is there a
way to limit the search for a given architecture?
pkg search -lp 'set:variant.arch:i386'

Will search locally and show every package installed with a i386 arch variant. Remove the -l if you want the remote search. Note, this doesn't mean that you'll be able, or should be able, to install the set of packages it returns.
