create general functions similar to what we have for gen_actions(), etc.
that accept excludes as parameters and process actions the same way.
That's assuming you're talking about the .attributes, .facets, and
variants properties of the Manifest objects.
If you're talking about the set actions in manifests, we actually do
support variants and facets on them (although, perhaps not correctly
everywhere).
Can you clarify?
