Hi All,

I've been given the go ahead to spend some time (30%) on IPS and I'm
looking for a place to start. Image-update is still high priority, but
to help get familiar with the current test suite, I thought I'd grab
something from here:
http://monaco.us.oracle.com/list.jsf?product=solaris&categoryt=pkg&subcategory=testsuite

I currently have my eye on
7140415 coverage has lost coverage of usr/bin/pkg (client.py)
http://monaco.us.oracle.com/detail.jsf?cr=7140415
unless someone has another recommendation.

I would actually start with something simpler, like these:

7139641 unit tests need to check image creation against https
repositories

7139902 coverage prevents several tests from running correctly

7138290 combining -o and -s for run.py results in traceback

Once you have those resolved, then I'd try 7140415.

Hi All,

I've been unable to get a completely clean test run but want to make
sure I'm on the same page as the rest of the team. I've attached a log
from "make test-verbose" which includes the following errors:

FAILED (successes=718, failures=4, errors=0, mismatches=4)

======================================================================
BASELINE MISMATCH: The following results didn't match the baseline.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
cli.t_pkg_sysrepo.py TestSysrepo.test_02_communication: fail
cli.t_pkg_sysrepo.py TestSysrepo.test_03_user_modifying_configuration: fail
cli.t_pkg_sysrepo.py TestSysrepo.test_11_https_repos: fail
cli.t_pkgdep.py TestPkgdepBasics.test_elf_dependency_tags: fail
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I see 3 AssertionError's and an UnexpectedExitCodeException. Any clues
as to what I'm doing wrong here?

The fourth one is unexpected as far as I know, the other three are due to bug 7157313 (Apache problem).

-Shawn
