Hi,
I am working a VM which is pre-configured with an IPS repository server (using
the FCS release repo).
Off late, when I try to run the following pkg list command,
root@s11-superserver:~# pkg list -n -g /opt/ora/ips/s11/repo/publisher/solaris/
entire
I get the following error:
Errors were encountered while attempting to retrieve package or file data for
the requested operation.
Details follow:
file protocol error: code: 71 reason: Catalog file
'/opt/ora/ips/s11/repo/publisher/solaris/catalog/catalog.attrs' is invalid.
Repository URL: 'file:///opt/ora/ips/s11/repo/publisher/solaris'.
root@s11-superserver:~# pkgrepo refresh -s /opt/ora/ips/s11/repo/
pkgrepo: file protocol error: code: 71 reason: Catalog file
'/opt/ora/ips/s11/repo/publisher/solaris/catalog/catalog.attrs' is invalid.
Repository URL: 'file:///opt/ora/ips/s11/repo'.
Please advise if the IPS repository has got corrupt or there is some permission
issue to be resolved.
