I agree, though my intention with that feature was to hide that
implementation detail from the user, adding a new flag to the command
line. Ultimately the fact that the tool is called "pkgmerge" and we're
not actually merging packages here, I'm inclined to not do that.
I'll forge on with the unit tests on the functionality I've got so far.
