Hi Prof. sfw :)
if you would try to bootstrap a repo you get zillions of warnings like that.
That's one of the major points that I dislike with IPS: It requires,
that the entire universe of interdependencies is always set 100% and
in all directions correct. If one single bit is incorrect, it breaks
(up to) everything.
In a perfect world this would be no problem, and in theory theory and
practice are always the same, but in practice they never are. I have
seen a few pretty annoying dependency cycles (in code that is 2 years
old, admittedly).
This only as context.
In this specific scenario only the IPS team may help you.
