By default, it doesn't write to a log file, only to stdout/stderr.
Assuming that you're speaking of the SMF-managed instance, due to an
existing bug (7195891), you won't find the stdout/stderr output in
/var/svc/log/application-pkg-server:*.log
You'll need to specify a log filename for the pkg/log_access and/or
pkg/log_errors properties. See pkg.depotd(1m) for more information.
