Thanks for this. Saved my bacon once again :-)
Since I'm now updating to SRU10.5 on my system, I can say that this was the solution to my issue.

And so in this instance I would say at some point your system was
connected to the development repository and a pkg update would have
pulled in the version [email protected],5.11-0.175.1.0.0.4...

Unfortunately there was a bug whereby the boot-management was not
incorporated which essentially meant it was not constrained and
so you could update it independently. This was addressed in SRU#10
which you are trying to install. However as it stands SRU#10 wants
to install [email protected],5.11-0.175.0.10 but cannot because
of the newer version installed.

Therefore what I would do is:

pkg update [email protected],5.11-0.175.0.0.0.2.1482

to bring it back inline and then perform the update to SRU#10.
