For others we (myself & Thejaswini) worked with Abhijit to address this issue.
Here is root cause for this : - mail/thunderbird latest version (17-0.5.12.0.0.0.5.0) is available at origin http://rangabhoomi.in.oracle.com/ - installed version of mail/thunderbird is 10.0.6-5.12.0.0.0.4.0 and this is contained by desktop-incorporation installed on the system The build process for thunderbird (in desktop consolidation) do not create desktop-incorporation (it only creates new version of thunderbird pkg).
