Hi Team,
I would like to support End Point Management with Solaris 11. I have couple
of questions on the same .
1. How should I register my endpoints (Solaris 11 system) with new IPS
system??
2.What all perquisites needed to execute the command "pkg update" from end
points.
3.For Solaris 10 patch management we were using getupdates1.sun.com but
after IPS implement we would require some new computer name or host name or
repository name
so could you please provide the same with all details like
protocol,port number etc.
4.Earlier for registration of endpoints with Solaris 10 we were using "
/usr/sbin/sconadm register -a -r /tmp/RegistrationProfile.properties .
now How this would be implement by IPS to support Solaris 11.
