Hi.
When opening Evolution and clicking the retrieve/send mail button the dialogue
appears, the send mail process is done at once (there is usually no mail to be
send at that time), but the other processes for retrieving mail hang. There is
also no network traffic. But even the retrievial of local mail hangs. This
happens every time (since the first 2.x I installed, IIRC). It seems not to
be a problem when you just open Evolution and wait for the mail to be retrieved
on schedule (i.e. every 10 minutes in my setup).
I have 9 accounts setup. Of those, 4 are accounts on one server, another three
on a second server, the remaining 2 are from a third server and local mail.
I assume there may be a problem with accessing several accounts on one server
at the same time. But then, why does it always work after the first attempt?
It is actually a very annoying bug and I was tempted to grade it as
'important'.

Hello,
I'm using your described setup myself and don't have the problem with
evolution in lenny or later.
Because its a 5 year old report against evolution 2.0.3 I'm closing it.
If this is not correct I will reopen it.
