It looks like the proxy can't be on at all when initially starting evolution. If the proxy is on on initial evolution startup, evolution will hang forever saying 0% complete on retrieving and displaying messages. It seems that if evolution is started without the proxy and everything starts up, then the proxy can be turned on and evolution will retrieve mail through the proxy. This is a severe regression from the previous version.
