I have now implemented basic support for extensions. It should work with any text-based extension (which seems to be the majority). Please have a look at the Git repository for the patch: http://git.debian.org/?p=pkg-exppsy/pynifti.git;a=commitdiff;h=3db15a222217ec0f3b3b591b80313a8e1cbcd941 And especially the docstring for the NiftiExtension class for a couple of example use-cases: http://git.debian.org/?p=pkg-exppsy/pynifti.git;a=blob;f=nifti/extensions.py;h=db259145973f4bad20a3d6374af9ecec8b48b47d;hb=3db15a222217ec0f3b3b591b80313a8e1cbcd941 Is that what you are looking for?
