Morning,

I'm happy to announce that PyMVPA is currently available in the
default macports directory. For those that were using my private
repository, you may continue to use that build. However, it is
encouraged that you remove my repository from your sources.conf so
that future updates to the pymvpa in MacPorts stable will properly
apply to your install.

The following variants (built in support) for PyMVPA is available:

py25-pymvpa has the variants:
scipy: Add support for scipy libraries
pynifti: Add support for the Nifti file format [default]
hcluster: perform cluster analysis and plot dendograms of results
[default]
libsvm: compile the libsvm classifier extension [default]
matplotlib: include support for the matplotlib library
pywavelet: include support for pywavelet module

Coming soon is full shogun classifier library support based on an
ATLAS + netlib LAPACK optimized library set.

Please see the PyMVPA documentation for details on obtaining pymvpa
via macports.

This should clear up any confusion regarding my local repository, as
it is no longer needed.

Cheers,

James Kyle
