Hello,
I am a bit confused whether or not SVM classifiers in the package
automatically select the best C/Nu values. I came across two posts on this
mailing list archive, one suggesting that they do ("C and Nu SVM", Feb 27,
2009), while the other one clearly saying they don't ("SVM RBF kernel
parameters", Apr 6, 2009).
What is the current status of this issue?
If the parameter selection is done automatically, how could I display the
used values?
If this feature is not implemented yet, how could I manually pass a C/Nu
value to the classifier?
