A NIX solution might work eventually since the potential production
use is "cloud" based. Currently though, the tool set is Win 7, so I
need to work with that; we have 2 trials just finished and another
scheduled, so there is lots of data. The other analysts are Matlab
power users, and people tend to hit things with the tool already in
their belt...

Long story short: we have very very limited experience with Windows and
thus can't support it adequately. We recommend Windows users to just
use our NeuroDebian virtual appliance [1] (we do use it ourselves
on OS X boxes) and install mvpa2 there (python-mvpa2 package). There
you should not have any problems and if you do -- we would be all there
to resolve them ;)

NB new ~rc6 or may be even just 2.0.0 is about to come out... we will
try building windows installer for it
