I am maybe a bit too pessimistic, but this will add more variance to something which is already not so stable, which means that people will not know which version must be installed, from Debian or from E17. As an example, as soon as the python-* packages will be available from E17: suddenly, we will have python-ecore and python-efl-ecore :-( That being said, I will stop complaining and leave everyone do whatever she/he wants.
