Hi, I left my 2nd Neo compiling new kernel yesterday and have uploaded it now to pkg-fso. It has a few WLAN fixes that were committed to andy-tracking branch in March, and the workaround delay patch that seems to still be also needed for better WLAN working (and it wasn't included in Debian earlier). Furthermore it has a touchscreen patch from gena2x that tries to fix the regressions caused by earlier andy-tracking changes. The alternative would be to revert the ca. 10 commits from ca. last September. I hope the kernel works for everybody at least as well as the previous one in pkg-fso.
There is of course the om-gta02-2.6.32 kernel with SHR patches waiting to be packaged (and even the module packages for the official repository idea that was proposed at some point), but there is still one thing that could be thought about for 2.6.29 as well: not everyone maybe remembers, but Andy from Openmoko just took 2.6.29rc3 as a base for his 2.6.29 branch and didn't do a new merge before it was eventually abandoned. It could be worthwhile stability-wise to see if a kernel with patch [1] applied (from [2]) would work. With a quick testing almost everything applied, but the few conflicts should be glanced over a bit.
