So how do we proceed?

Make 'ttf-bitstream-vera' a required package for wop, change the font
name in the WoP code, and place a link in the WoP data directory to
the correct font file in the 'ttf-bitstream-vera' package?

Cheers,
Tom

Hi all,
I just received a mail from the intro tune composer,
that this particular re-encoded and cut version may
be release with the BSD license (the complete version
of the tune is still under CC license).
I hope this settles the license problems for the intro tune.
Yes it's fine.

Concerning the font issue: Has anybody tried to use the
DejaVu font in WoP? Does is work?
I remplaced tahoma.ttf by Vera.ttf and tahomabd.ttf by VeraBd.ttf and yes it works fine.
Both are in the ttf-bitstream-vera package on Debian.

Best regards,
