It would have been better if there was co-ordination before uploading such breaking changes. experimental first and heads up to failing reverse depends would have been better. Hopefully we can improve for future transitions. https://salsa.debian.org/ruby-team/meta has build script which makes it very easy to rebuild all reverse build dependencies.
