Hi there, It was pointed out during the review of my Go 1.5 package for Ubuntu that the current go packaging includes files for race detector support that is not built from source included in the source package, so I made a package that does build them from source (basically it turns the instructions from https://go.googlesource.com/go/+/master/src/runtime/race/README into a debian/rules file). It seems to me that it would make sense to do this in Debian too? You can grab the package from here:
