further remark to d/copyright:  Please use proper PATH for files
with specific licenses.  In several cases mpop/ is missing.  I also
noticed that python-mipp is a preconditcion.

Any reason to name the source (and the repository) only mipp instead
of python-mipp.  As far as I understand Python libraries should also
contain the 'python-' in the beginning.

The long description has some typo:

 It's main task is to convert t low level satellite data into a format
